HAVE YOU HEARD, DO YOU KNOW THE ARTISTS WHO PLUGGED IN A WHOLE GENERATION? A group of people changed the world through music, impacting the thinking, and actions, of millions. They fuelled a revolution. This influence lives on today. It was a dynamic time of creativity well before we had synthesisers and everyone had their own in house recording studio on a PC. In this modern world of techno generated celebrity, and false idol creation, there are no new creators, and writers, of the musical art. The great icons of rock, soul and music innovation are to be found in the 60s and 70s and partially into the 80s. Music and artists who shaped a new era of society and musical revolution. Challenging the straight jacketed prim, and proper, they challenged convention and custom, male domination and authority with a new free love proposal creating an expressive generation perhaps (some might say) fuelled by mind altering substances. There are no equivalent new artists today. Let me introduce you to, or remind you of, some of the thousands of those incredible artists. This selection is presented in memory of those great days, times and the extraordinary talented. You may already have heard them but you might just discover a bygone era that alters your mind.
